Keegan is leasing space from Aptos developer Joe Appenrodt who last year bought the 43-acre Aviza site, a gated property with buildings containing 200,000 square.
Keegan has neighbors at the complex, including the Sants Cruz Derby Girls, a vitamin company, a solar company and a hot rod restoration company.
Three times, developers were in contract to buy the property to build homes there but each time they backed out.
"We will accept ‪#‎electronics‬ from individuals up to big companies like Seagate," Keegan said. "Used business assets, they get wiped clean. We send you a certificate of destruction. Your data is secure."
He considers Grey Bears, the Mid-County nonprofit that accepts donations of old #electronics, his main competitor, noting that All Goods will on occasion buy used electronics.

Every bit of ‪#‎E‬-Waste that is diverted from a landfill or incinerator is in a small way making the world a better place. When end of life ‪#‎electronics‬ are handled, sorted and ‪#‎recycled‬ properly, that E-Waste has actually turned into a valuable source of secondary raw materials that won’t need to be stripped from our limited natural resources.

About Us

Back in the mid 1980’s I threw a soda can in the trash and my older sister Elizabeth scolded me saying, “If you fill the trash with items that we can easily recycle, then there will be no place left for our kids to put their garbage”.
That conversation always stuck in my mind. If we fill our limited garbage space with recyclables, then where are we going to put our trash? I don’t know and I really don’t ever want to find the answer to that question.
Have you ever found yourself hunched over a garbage can pulling out items that should have been thrown into the recycling bin, (which is usually just a few feet away)? I have, on several occasions. It’s so easy to do the right thing, yet some people still just don’t, “get it”. Fortunately everyone down here at All Goods Electronics really does. We are all passionate about what we do and why it is so important to reduce, reuse and recycle.
