Every bit of #E-#Waste that is diverted from a landfill or incinerator is
in a small way making the world a better place. When end of life
electronics are handled, sorted and recycled properly, that #E-#Waste has
actually turned into a valuable source of secondary raw materials that
won’t need to be stripped from our limited natural resources.
What happens when #E-Waste is incinerated or dumped in a landfill?
#Electronic waste from equipment of all sizes includes dangerous chemicals like lead, cadmium, beryllium, mercury, PCB’s and brominated flame retardants. When we dispose of gadgets and devices improperly, these hazardous materials have a high risk of polluting the air, contaminating soil, and leaching into water sources. These substances are highly toxic and carcinogenic. When carelessly handled, they contaminate our food and water supply and enter into the food chain. Burning of these products causes toxic fumes to be emitted. This further depletes the ozone layer, as well as creating the potential of inhalation by humans and animals.

We recognize the responsibility that comes with handling your sensitive data
If sensitive data on your hard drive, printer or laptop isn’t securely destroyed, it could possibly lead to millions of dollars in damages or a permanently tarnished reputation for you or your company. Identity theft and corporate fraud is a real threat. Regardless of your industry or financial status, you can’t afford to risk your private information falling into the wrong hands.

We are merging with a larger company who has comparable telecom and
networking equipment. We need to know what we should standardize on and
what equipment will no longer be required to keep our phones ringing and
networks operating efficiently. Once the merger is complete we will
need the out of service hardware to be purchased and professionally
removed.

Keegan is leasing space from Aptos developer Joe Appenrodt who last year
bought the 43-acre Aviza site, a gated property with buildings
containing 200,000 square.
Keegan has neighbors at the complex, including the Sants Cruz Derby Girls, a vitamin company, a solar company and a hot rod restoration company.
Three times, developers were in contract to buy the property to build homes there but each time they backed out.

About Us
Back in the mid 1980’s I threw a soda can in the trash and my
older sister Elizabeth scolded me saying, “If you fill the trash with
items that we can easily recycle, then there will be no place left for
our kids to put their garbage”.
That conversation always stuck in my mind. If we fill our limited garbage space with recyclables, then where are we going to put our trash? I don’t know and I really don’t ever want to find the answer to that question.
Have you ever found yourself hunched over a garbage can pulling out items that should have been thrown into the recycling bin, (which is usually just a few feet away)? I have, on several occasions. It’s so easy to do the right thing, yet some people still just don’t, “get it”. Fortunately everyone down here at All Goods Electronics really does. We are all passionate about what we do and why it is so important to reduce, reuse and recycle.
